I had such a strange dream last night.. I can't remember everything that went on and I think I must have woken up lots and then dreamt something slightly different cos I can't quite work out how my imagination would have linked all the bits I can remember. I was getting married in a palace somewhere and rather than wearing a white wedding dress as planned, I wore something which I think I am bidding for on ebay, with blue glittery high heels. I can only presume I was getting married to Morten Harket. Then I remember having a 2 month old baby who I presume was mine but I didn't really recognise it - and I don't know if it was a boy or girl... or who was the dad. And I had no recollection at all of giving birth to it. At some point I was sitting in a car in a car park having some kind of party with a few people, one of which was a young Richard Pryor - who I think then went on to give me away at my wedding. That all does explain why it took me 50 minutes to get out of bed after my alarm went off... and even then I only got up cos I accidentally turned on my touch-sensitive lamp when I reached to press snooze for the 20th time.

Went to the albany last night with M&Z where we exhanged Xmas presents ahead of the SPaZM festival (Susan, Penny, Zena, Michelle - do you see?!) It was ace. M got Z some amazingly terrifying hand puppets which Z bonded with for the rest of the night. I got Z a bright green feather boa (favourite colour of us both), M got an assortment of goodies from Z which included mascara, a lovely blue purse and a hand mirror and I bought M an a-Ha DVD which has the videos of all their hit singles. I got "How Can I Sleep With Your Voice In My Head", the live a-Ha album and also a book of The Two Ronnies jokes from M and a beautiful green top from Z along with a yellow boob tube type affair to go underneath. Ace. We are very excited about the festivities planned for next week - we just need to get Xmas out of the way and then the fun can begin. I still don't feel Xmassy in the slightest.

Oh. My. God.

This morning, Michelle and I had the surprise honour of sharing a lift with the man in the middle of this photo.

I'm afraid I am still in shock but I will post further details forthwith. Suffice to say, he is one of the most beautiful men I have ever clapped eyes on. And relax.
